Australian manufacturers involved in commercial maritime and naval defence will have the chance to talk shop with a record number of international naval delegations in Sydney this October.
Organisers of PACIFIC 2015 – the Pacific International Maritime Exposition, expect to welcome at least 58 foreign naval missions from 47 countries including the US, UK, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Japan.
Held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre from October 6 to 8, the biennial event brings together major players in national and international shipping, logistics, naval, underwater and defence related communities.
It also provides an opportunity to do business, promote products and capabilities and to network with key decision makers.
Event CEO Ian Honnery said the international delegations would be at Chief of Navy or counterpart level.
“Their presence at the exposition will greatly enhance the opportunities for exhibiting companies to expand their client base and seek out new markets,” he said.
“It will allow them to showcase their technologies, products and services before an informed and focused audience of potential buyers.”
