The Energy and Environment portfolios have been separated, signalling that the new Energy Minister Angus Taylor will focus on energy price and reliability. The Environment Minister is Melissa Price. Industry had previously supported an integrated framework for energy and carbon policy, which has proved once again to be beyond current politics.
Peter Dutton remains Minister for Home Affairs but it no longer includes Immigration, which goes to David Coleman.
