The opening keynote speech, “Engineering in the Age of Digitalisation,” will be delivered by global managing board member for Siemens and digitalisation thought-leader, Dr Roland Busch.
This will be followed by a panel discussion on Australia’s transition to a new economy with Siemens Australia CEO Jeff Connolly, who is also Chairman of Prime Minister’s Industry 4.0 Taskforce, set up to connect Australian industry into global developments towards the so-called 4th industrial revolution.
Joining Mr Connolly on the panel are Engineers Australia CEO Stephen Durkin, CSIRO Director of Manufacturing Dr Keith McLean, and Swinburne University of Technology Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Aleksandar Subic.
