Philip is Vice President and General Manager of the Spectroscopy Solutions Division within Agilent’s Chemical Analysis Group incorporating centres of excellence in Research & Development, Marketing and Manufacturing in Australia, Japan and the USA.
Philip joined the Spectroscopy Division in 1994, after beginning his career in the mining and minerals industry. He has held management positions in product marketing and development, and sales and operations.
In 2010 Philip was appointed by the Federal government to chair the Future Industry Innovation Council and in 2012 served on the Prime Minister’s Manufacturing Task Force. He is a member of The University of Melbourne’s Industry Advisory Group, Chairman of Bionic Enterprises, and is a National Councillor for the Australian Industry Group.
